The Society's Journals

As well as organising many conferences where new research is presented, the Society publishes 11 scientific journals, each offering the latest research in psychology to academics, researchers, practitioners, students and of course journalists. The international peer-reviewed journals are published quarterly and often contain newsworthy research.

The Media Centre can provide journalists, on request, with copies of any papers printed in the Society's journals. Unfortunately this service is only available to the media and not other organisations or individuals. If you are a journalist and would like to receive a contents sheet for the latest volume of each journal, via e-mail and ahead of the embargo date, please contact the Media Centre (tel: +44 (0)116 252 9500 or e-mail: mediacentre@bps.org.uk).

Journalists can also search online for research published in previous volumes of the Society's journals. Abstracts of all papers can be viewed for free online and, again, full papers are available on request from the Media Centre.

Please note: The electronic delivery of the Society journals is provided by IngentaConnect. IngentaConnect offers access to more than 6,000 electronic publications but the press office can only provide full copies of those papers which appear in journals published by the British Psychological Society.
