Public Engagement Grants Scheme

Please note that the 2008 round of funding is now CLOSED

Each year the P&C Board awards funding for public engagement activities which produce some form of sustainable resource. Up to £14,000 is available each year, either for one large project, or to be shared amongst several smaller projects.

Eleven applications were received in 2007, from which the Board chose two projects to be funded. Details of the successful applicants from the 2008 round of funding will be added as soon as possible.

The next round of funding, for events to take place in 2009 or 2010 will open in the spring of 2009. Application forms can be requested at any time by e-mailing the Policy Advisor to the P&C Board.

More information on how to apply, including target audiences and evaluation criteria, is available on our 2009 Information Sheet ; see also our Top Tips for Success .

A brief list of possible Project examples is available to download.

Previously-funded events have varied enormously, and a list of Previous Successful Applicants is available to download.
