Welcome to the Research and Science Pages.

This section of the site is aimed at being a key resource for academics and researchers - but will also be of use to any practitioners engaged in research.

It is still under development at the moment. However, these pages will shortly include information on the following:

Research Board (information about its work and responsibilities, current members of the Board, meeting dates, its Steering Groups and Working Parties - including its Standing Committee on the Welfare of Animals in Psychology)

Lobbying and Liaison (including details of liaison meetings with the Research Councils, information on the Joint Committee on Psychology In Higher Education, links with other cognate organisations - such as the Science Council and the Academy for Social Sciences)

Research and Academic Resources (including the funding opportunities database, the UK academic and research interests database, information for postgraduate researchers, virtual postdoctoral researchers network, news, ethics, the Society's periodicals collection, the History of Psychology Centre and research reports)

Awards (including details of all of the award and grant schemes and honorary lectures under the aegis of the Research Board)

Current Research (including details of on-going Society research projects, such as the careers destinations project, and links to existing on-line questionnaires)
